Appointment : Mark Hazizowic Joins Streem Container as Global Fleet Manager
We are pleased to welcome Mark Hazizowic as the new Global Fleet Manager for our Streem Container Business Unit, effective June 1st, 2025. Mark will be based in Hamburg and will report directly to senior management.
In his new role, Mark will lead the strategic oversight of our global idle fleet. His responsibilities will focus on improving fleet visibility, optimizing repositioning flows, managing equipment lifecycle processes, and facilitating collaboration between brands and sales managers to ensure decisions are aligned with operational, commercial, and economic goals.
A Wealth of Industry Experience
Mark brings over three decades of experience in the tank container industry. He began his career at VTG in 1992, progressing through a wide range of roles across operations, sales, and asset management.
His journey has taken him from local tank planning in Southern Germany for key clients such as BASF, to international operations and customer service in Hamburg, and later to the U.S. where he supported import and sales activities.
He returned to Europe in 2000 to manage the VTG office in Mutterstadt, a position he held for 10 years before moving back to Hamburg to lead global procurement. Most recently, he served as Head of Equipment Solutions & Assets for VTG’s tank container leasing operations, following a strategic shift in 2022.
Strengthening Our Operational Agility
With his strong technical background, international exposure, and proven leadership, Mark is well-positioned to support our mission of operational excellence. His ability to navigate complexity and align teams across regions will be a major asset as we continue to scale and optimize our container activities worldwide.
Please join us in congratulating Mark and wishing him every success in this new chapter with Streem.
